There have been several authorization issues with Blendy 360 Cam and the Fulldome VJ plugins on Windows. While macOS provide a solid device identifier that is unique and never changes, Windows does not. Developers need to implement their own method of identifying the machine, but sometines Windows can break it after system updates or just by installing a new software.
Because of that, we decided to change the unique identifier for Windows, starting with today’s releases below:
- Blendy 360 Cam 2.2.1
- FDVJ 004
- AVAuthorizer 1.1.1
When you instlal and use the new plugins, its identifier will be upgraded automatically, there’s nothing you need to do. If you start AVAuthorizer, it will update the identifier of all installed products.
So make sure everything is upgraded, on all Cinema 4D or your VJ software, because old versions will not de-authorize the product. But if that happens, no problem, just upgrade and authorize again with AVAuthorizer.
If you have any problems, don’t hesitate to contact us.
